The LSTM Imaging Suite houses a Zeiss LSM 880 Confocal Microscope for use with HG2 and HG3 samples.
The Zeiss LSM 880 is equipped with auto-focus and a live-cell imaging chamber for real-time analysis of samples sensitive to temperature and gas saturation. High resolution, high contrast 3D images are generated, which may be analysed within bespoke software. Images 512 x 512 pixels may be acquired at a speed of up to 13 frames per second.
